Recast Framework Directive
The Recast Framework Directive (2007/46/EC) was finally published this month. This defines the rules for type approval of vehicles across the EC, the important change being that type approval is now to be phased in for all types of vehicles including Good vehicles, buses, coaches and trailers whereas previously it was only mandatory for cars. This will mean much more regulation for these vehicles and STATUS can help guide manufacturers through the type approval process so contact us now to see how we can help.
